Rachel has over 500 hours of yoga instructor spanning 3 years, with an emphasis on kids, teens and family yoga. Rachel is seeking her 500-RYT with a trauma informed focus and currently holds a 200-RYT, RCYT and is an Kidding Around Yoga Advanced Instructor. Rachel is a former Grand Raggidy Roller Derby player and understands the demands on adult athletic bodies and how yoga can be part of a healthy lifestyle.  Let Rachel share her love and passion for yoga with you and your family.
Owners Abby + Rachel founded Aptitude Fitness + Yoga in late 2020. We believe that fitness and yoga are both part of a healthy lifestyle. 
My name is Therese and I live here in Rockford with my husband, two children, 3 dogs and cat! We love boating all summer on Lake Michigan and traveling to warm places in the winter. I have been practicing yoga since 2013 and started teaching in 2014. Right now I am currently working towards my 500 RYT. I love the connection of the mind/body. I have a passion for trauma informed yoga.

Hi, I’m Sara! I’m obsessed with 3 things. 1. Coffee 2. Leggings and 3. All things fitness! I’m a runner, a certified barre instructor and 500 hour RYT.  I’ve been teaching yoga for about 7 years and barre for 4. I’m married and a dog mom to a Pomsky pup named Ellie.  We are snowbirds who live in Grand Rapids part of the year and Phoenix, Arizona  the rest. I’m passionate about helping people find ways to stay active while having fun and creating community.
 Caitlin has been teaching Barre for about a year and has a passion for making her students feel confident in their own skin. Caitlin’s background is in tap, jazz, ballet and hip-hop dancing which you might see in her teaching style. Caitlin also maintains a regular yoga practice and has recently completed her 200-YTT this past June. When Caitlin is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her friends, dancing and mini-adventures.
