Educators' well-being is near and dear to our hearts. According to Joy in Teaching over 78% of teachers say they are physically or emotionally exhausted by the end of the school day. That can lead to anxiety, stress and yes an overall unwell feeling.
The Anxiety & Depression Association of America says, "Exercise is also considered vital for maintaining mental fitness, and it can reduce stress. Studies show that it is very effective at reducing fatigue, improving alertness and concentration, and at enhancing overall cognitive function.” That is why we are looking for your Teaching Champion and make them a Wellness Winner this 2023/2024 year. Teaching Champion-Wellness Winner will receive a 12-month paid in full Unlimited Membership including, 1-complimentary guest pass per month, members only events and pricing.
Rules:
Contest is open to any K-12 educator + support staff, currently teaching or supporting staff during the 2023/2024 school year in a Kent County school. All classes are held at, Aptitude Fitness + Yoga, 251 Northland Drive, Rockford, MI 49341. Unlimited Educator Membership is valid for any in studio,yoga, fitness, Barre or Pilates class for 12 consecutive months.
To be considered all questions in the application must be completed by the nominator. Winner(s) will be announced via call, email and Facebook live event on Monday September 4th with Membership starting, September 2023 and concluding September 2024. * Price lock will be honored if the winner decides to continue membership. Prize valued at $500.00.
